Driving From Cancun

From Cancun: Take the main highway (307) south out of Cancun. The highway follows the coast and continues to Tulum. After Tulum the road veers away from the coast and goes around the Sian Kaan nature reserve.

Continue on to Filipe Carillo Puerto. You should get gas in this town and take advantage of the snacks that the locals sell at the gas station.

Continue on 307 through the small town of Limones. Six kilometers past Limones you will come to the little town of Pedro Santos. Just outside of the Pedro Santos look for the Radio Tower and at the Kilometer 59 marker turn left on the dirt road leading east to the Laguna. Follow the signs to Laguna Maya Resort.
